Electrical Test Technician

CEPTON (Nasdaq: CPTN), a leading intelligent lidar solution provider, is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to work in the manufacturing team to support product introduction to high-volume manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test PCBA using Test Fixtures, Oscilloscope, Variable Power Supply, DVM, Signal Generator, Microscope, etc. 
• Able to take directions from Engineers to test prototype PCBAs 
• Works with other Mfg technicians to complete tasks on time and maintain high-quality standards 
• Responsible for keep a record of all Electrical Test data 
• Responsible for reworking failed components on PCBA with soldering station and hot air equipment 
• Responsible for basic troubleshooting using electrical schematics and layout 

Qualifications

• 3+ years of working experience in the field
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Fast-learning, self-motivated and hard-working
• Efficient and good at multitasking
• Good team player, reliable and independent work style, responsible for outputs, and working well under pressure

$25 - $35 an hour
