The Events Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of events, memberships, and sponsorships, including logistics, coordination, and strategy. This position plans, organizes, and executes events to boost the sales pipeline, enhance brand growth, and facilitate networking with existing and potential strategic partners.
Essential functions
- Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events, including conferences, trade shows, field events, and virtual events
- Work cross-functionally within the organization to align event strategy with marketing and business objectives
- Manage the setting, tracking, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of events
- Analyze event performance and qualitative feedback to make informed decisions to improve future events.
- Manage event budgets efficiently
- Oversee booth selection, attendance, materials, and other event details in accordance with deadlines to ensure seamless execution
- Coordinate with leadership and attendees on booth scheduling and speaking opportunities
- Develop strategies for continual enhancement of attendee experience and engagement at events
- Maintain and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to maximize budgetary resources
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly pivot to accommodate last-minute requests, changes, and unforeseen challenges
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, conference organizers, and vendors

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, with a preference for Marketing, Business, or equivalent
- 4+ years of previous marketing experience with a passion for events and event management
- Experience supporting a business to business sales team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experience in the automotive industry
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables, deadlines, and stakeholders at once
