Vero was founded in Colorado in 2017 to build fiber networks for underserved schools. Since that
time, we have grown to serve over 50 school districts throughout the US and have expanded our focus to serve the broader community including both residential and business customers. We now have multiple fiber networks supporting communities across Colorado and we are making plans for more in 2023.
As the Community Event Manager, you will be hands-on responsible for implementing a local event marketing plan.
You will be responsible for finding and working at Community Events including HOA events, farmers markets, Community Events, chamber of commerce meetings for your neighborhoods (fiber-hood). Each month, you will strive to reach a goal of community engagements, thus increasing awareness of our new Fiber Internet service in their neighborhood. You will be partnered with a sales team that can facilitate getting new customer service ordered and installed.
As a hand-ons, and in-market role, you will have detailed knowledge of the Vero fiber construction, fiber-hood turn up timing and driving local marketing efforts to increase our customer sales. Finally, you will be the in-market marketing lead, which will help create social media content highlighting our awesome local staff, construction organization and the positive impact we are making on our customers lives.
The Community Manager role is an infield hands-on role that reports to the EVP of Sales and has a
direct impact on sales results.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Exceptionally strong communication skills
- Exceptionally strong process and project management skills
- Strong leadership skills to drive initiatives and to manage sales organizations expectations and issues
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to clear a driver license check, background check and drug test
