We are looking for a *Manager, Employee Engagement Events* to strategize on and manage exceptional internal events that connect employees to our culture, help them to live our values, and keep them excited.
Reporting to the Director, Employee Events & Engagement, this passionate individual will be responsible for managing global employee events, and partner with stakeholders and collaborators on employee engagement initiatives across the U.S. and Canada.
The ideal candidate is ruthlessly organized and detail-oriented and can adapt to fast-changing priorities. They are also creative and explore new ways to surprise and delight both virtual and in-person event attendees.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver exciting global employee event programs in partnership with key stakeholders from Equality, Citizen Philanthropy, Real Estate & Workplace Services, and other teams across the business.
* Work with and manage events agencies and vendors to assist with planning and executing top-tier and unique events.
* Collaborate with the Communications team to create excitement among employees and drive their participation in events.
* Regularly analyze employee feedback, survey data, and metrics to enhance and evolve events.
* Manage contracts and budgets for events in partnership with Procurement, Sourcing, and Finance teams.
Experience:
* 5+ years of project, program, and/or event management, preferably with an emphasis on employee-focused events.
* Strong organization skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Polished oral and written communication skills.
* Building compelling presentations using Google Slides/PowerPoint.
* Proactive and results-oriented with an acute ability to manage multiple priorities and re-prioritize on the fly.
* Creative thinker with strong analytical skills.
* Ability to drive high profile initiatives and present approaches and plans to executives.
* Ability to contract with clients, event agencies, and manage projects through to completion.
* Strong ability to build and foster relationships.
* Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
* Experience using Slack, Quip, and Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc) is a plus.
