Field Marketing and Events Manager, Resi
About the Role:
Resi Media, LLC is a technology company broadcasting content for thousands of organizations around the globe. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for events. This person will have a hands-on approach with their event management style, and will work closely with our marketing team and salespeople to plan and execute events for Resi. This position is responsible for creating virtual and in-person experiences, collaborating cross functionally with sales, product, marketing, and Customer Success to deliver on business goals (including lead generation, revenue, and brand awareness). Successful candidates will possess impeccable communication skills, both written and oral, and must be incredibly organized and detail oriented - managing the programs for many simultaneous events and stakeholders.
This role will work constantly with the Resi segment marketing team and sales team to manage end-to-end planning and execution of events - including marketing, creation and communication of event playbooks, team coordination / project management, logistics, budgeting, and tracking of KPIs. This includes large hosted events, smaller sales activities and Events, and conference/trade show participation. These events are a key part of building brand awareness, driving demand and nurturing current and future prospects, ultimately helping the Resi sales team deliver on its goals. Working in partnership with the Resi segment marketing manager, this role will develop marketing goals associated with each event as well as the campaign plan to maximize lead gen opportunities, from pre-event to post-event.

  • Compensation Range: $65,863 - $85,500, depending on location.

Compensation ranges are determined by role and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the pay range for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
What You'll Do:
  • Creation and management of Resi event marketing strategy from conception to measurement and post-event reviews
  • Manage and create event & Field Marketing budgets including forecasting, accruals, opening PO's, payment status and reconciliation
  • Plan, produce, and execute field events that are virtual and/or in-person
  • Assisting, accelerating, and creating sales opportunities to drive revenue through custom events and field initiatives by working directly with the sales team to identify customers & prospects from target accounts
  • Managing key metrics such as pipeline, cost per meeting, cost per lead, opportunity conversion, etc.
  • Build and distribute regular pre-event status and post-event reports
  • Build event playbooks by category of event to ensure consistency and success
  • Support internal communication across multiple departments (sales, marketing, customer success) on expectations, goals, deliverables, event logistics, acquisition of attendee & sponsor lists, and performance
  • Reporting on the impact that field events have on top target accounts, including account engagement and pipeline growth. This includes ensuring that attribution is being correctly and properly reported
  • Collaborating with demand gen team on programs that drive pre-show interest, attendance, and post-show conversion activity and engagement
  • Aligning with key stakeholders, such as sales and PR to maximize value and accelerate deals

What You'll Bring:
  • 7+ years of experience in a Field Marketing or events marketing role
  • Experience working with enterprise level sales teams
  • Proven experience managing, owning, and tracking a budget
  • Proven familiarity with owning and executing on marketing events (webinars, conferences, exclusive events)
  • Ability to analyze & interpret metrics around Field Marketing performance
  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and drive results across teams (including remote colleagues) and at all levels of an organization
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environments and rapidly changing priorities
  • High EQ with a strong drive toward listening, understanding and empathy.
  • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Skilled, positive, optimistic collaborator adept at partnering with internal teams and external vendors as needed
  • Ability to travel to events on an as needed basis
  • Basic understanding of the sales and marketing funnels

Education and Experience:
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Zoom webinar and project management tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related or equivalent experience
  • Experience engaging with customers and prospects across geographies and industries, at all levels
  • Experience working in faith-based or SaaS industries is preferred, but not required
  • Experience working in video streaming / technology industry is preferred, but not required

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in a professional office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer will be required. This role consistently operates standard office equipment
