Who we seek:
Reporting to the Director, Field & Event Marketing, this role requires you to be a strategic doer, creative thinker, and nonstop innovator. You'll play a critical role in driving revenue growth at BigID.
We are seeking a talented Events & Field Marketing Manager who has a passion for supporting growth through event-based and regional marketing strategies. You will be responsible for working closely with marketing and sales to prioritize, plan, and executive high-response client marketing initiatives. We're looking for someone who knows how to develop an event strategy from concept to execution.
What you'll do:
- Spearhead BigID's event & Field Marketing function for the Northeastern United States
- Manage conferences, seminars, roadshows, and hospitality events on-site and virtually, interact with Sales and presenters, participants, and executives
- Responsible for executing the entire events life cycle including coordination and project management of pre-show promotion, show execution, pre-show communication to participants, engagement, and post show follow up
- Maintain and grow relationships with conference organizers to extend and amplify marketing initiatives
- Monitor and measure the success of all event programs and evaluate results against KPIs
- Build the BigID event & conference strategy for the ideal mix of key target audiences and locations to drive ROI
- Assist in the creation and delivery of pre-show and post-show communications
- Travel to and support onsite execution and management of key events, including show set-up and take-down
- Work with marketing team to develop new branded giveaways/promotional items, email campaigns, invitations, conference signage, and social media posts
- Own the post-conference wrap-up, deliver clean lists of qualified leads, and ensure a smooth handover to sales
- Update event budgets, track spending, and process payments
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' events management experience
- Ability to travel to support events (Up to 50% travel required)
- Hands-on experience in event planning and budget management, familiar with capture, upload and lead management techniques.
- Ability to work with exhibition houses to optimize efficiency
- Strong personality, interpersonal and collaboration skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of an organization and hold team accountable to our events standards
- Experience executing trade shows, customer events, user conferences, partner and field events
- Ability to manage a large schedule of events, work flexibly and pragmatically while still adhering to best practices.
- Experience working in B2B software preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The annual base salary range is $115,000 – $130,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is just one component of our Compensation Philosophy. Variable/Bonus Compensation & Equity Incentives align with individual and company performance.
