Events Coordinator, One Daytona

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Events Coordinator based in our Daytona Beach, Florida office.

This person is responsible for supporting the property events through planning and execution of the center’s robust event calendar. This role will report to the Events Manager. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Support Events Manager in planning and executing events.
• Solicit Tenants to participate in events and promotions/specials for the centers.
• Work with tenants on consumer specials/discounts and employee discount program
• Maintain the internal event calendar; circulate to team weekly.
• Coordinate all agreements & insurance for marketing vendors, third-party events, displays, and advertising.
• Submit all marketing invoices to be paid; track payments to ensure vendors are paid.
• Maintain all marketing files, including contracts, insurance, and payments.
• Create event workorders for all onsite activities.
• Track event results and provide a monthly update to the ONE DAYTONA management team.
• Member of the events team helping to execute onsite events as needed.
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends as needed.

Required skills / experience:

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• At least one year related event experience
• Have experience running events/exposure to assisting with events
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Motivated and committed.
• Willing to perform manual labor as related to event set up, execution, and tear down.
• Personable and articulate, must remain calm and polite when assisting guests.
• Available to work evenings and weekend events regularly.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
