What you will be doing:

The Events Coordinator on the Marketing team involves a multifaceted set of responsibilities centered around planning, executing, and managing various events to support the company's marketing objectives. You will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and executing a range of corporate events, including conferences, trade shows, product launches, seminars, and other promotional events to support the company's marketing strategies.

  • Plan, organize, and execute corporate events from conception to completion, ensuring all aspects align with marketing objectives and company branding.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure necessary resources within budgetary constraints.
  • Create and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistical details to ensure smooth execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, SE) to understand event goals and align strategies.
  • Communicate event details, objectives, and expectations effectively to all stakeholders involved.
  • Develop promotional strategies to increase event attendance and engagement.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to create event-related content, such as promotional materials, social media campaigns, and email marketing.
  • Oversee on-site event setup, including signage, equipment, and arrangements.
  • Manage online events including invitations, live attendees, Q&A sessions, polling and post event reporting and communications.
  • Manage event staff and external vendors during the event to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to analyze success metrics, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on event performance and return on investment (ROI) for future planning.
  • Source and manage promotional inventory for use with events (freebies, giveaways, premium gifts).

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in event planning, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in event management software/tools.
  • Budget management and negotiation skills.
  • Creativity and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and last-minute adjustments.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Enjoy occasional travel and working flexible hours to accommodate event schedules.
