SalarySocrates in the City (SITC) is a Manhattan-based conversation series hosted by speaker, author and radio/TV host Eric Metaxas. SITC explores the Big Questions — “life, God, and other small topics” in Manhattan and throughout the US.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Work with leadership and venue representatives to manage the full range of large scale SITC events including budgeting, menus, location selection and services.
-Handle guest relations and services from initial interest through post-event follow-up: including communications/emails, Eventbrite booking and related activities, on-site services and issue resolution.
-Support key SITC communications such as drafting SITC newsletter content; assisting with special “Socrates in the Studio” needs; SITC social media management and uploading content to Socrates+
REQUIREMENTS:
1 to 3 years relevant experience; video editing experience a plus.
Location: NJ/NY/CT/PA – preference given to NYC
Travel Requirements: Frequent travel to SITC events in major US cities – up to 10x per year
Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000
