Untitled Art is the leading international art fair that takes place annually on the sands of Miami Beach. Guided by a mission to support the wider art ecosystem, Untitled Art offers an inclusive curatorial platform for discovering contemporary art and prioritizes collaboration in each aspect of the fair. The fair seeks an organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable candidate to coordinate the fair's communication and Digital department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee all outgoing digital communication (exhibitor, general, and VIP mailings)
- Maintenance of database (VIP, exhibitors, and general)
- Ongoing research and update of gallery lists
- Support the Exhibitor Services department
- Social Media strategy and implementation
- Manage website content and design
- Development of consistent brand awareness and online reputation
- SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic
- Liaise with PR firm for strategy development and media requests
- Oversee PR image and video submissions from Exhibitors
- Copy editing and press releases
- Basic Photoshop and InDesign editing
- Point of contact with design teams
- Assist with the Untitled Art Podcast and the Untitled Art Edit
- Implement promotional and communication strategies for fair programming and mailings
- Ongoing research on the commercial contemporary art world (social, comms, website, and design)
- Additional support to the VIP and Development departments, year-round and fair programming.
Candidates must be self-motivated, practical, and intuitive. Candidate must have a strong interest in the fine and performing arts. Should have a B.A. or M.A. preferred in communication, arts, or humanities degree and at least 2 years of work experience in an agency or art world organization. Candidate must have strong computer skills and be extremely organized and detail-oriented. Applicants should be self-motivated and have excellent written and verbal communication skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Video editing
- Website maintenance and HTML
- Meta Business Suite and Google Ads
- Background/interest in contemporary visual and/or performance arts
- Strong writer and editor/proof-reader with experience writing for web/social media
- Must be creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team
- Stay aware of production deadlines and manage time accordingly
- Multitask in a fast-paced creative space, interact across departmental divisions and integrate and collaborate with them
