Position Summary
We’re looking for an event professional with a passion for creating meaningful and engaging experiences that inform and invite strategic conversations about the future of whole-person virtual care. The Event Specialist will work directly with marketing and commercial leaders to ensure on-budget, on-brand implementation, and results for their list of events. The ideal candidate understands large-scale conference and trade show programs and has impeccable attention to the many details that shape powerful, high-quality in-person, virtual, and hybrid experiences.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop coordinated, segment-specific event plans
- Meet measurable objectives for events by type, size, and location
- Complete tracking documents for pre-event and post-event evaluation
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event, and post-event strategy to increase engagement
- Proactively engage with sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of event activities
- Execute each event within the approved budget

- Experience in planning virtual, hybrid, and in-person events
- Willingness to travel up to 20 to 50 percent of the time
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CMP or CTSM certifications preferred
- 3-5+ years of experience in event planning/management and/or marketing
- Hands-on corporate event planning and logistics experience, ideally within healthcare or technology (global experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of how trade shows and conferences work, including vendor management, components of events, typical timelines, budgets, and other best practices
- Experience managing event communications to multiple complex stakeholder groups
- Experience managing events projects, budgets, and resource allocation
The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $88,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here
