Laundry Specialist

What we’re looking for: We are in search of a detail oriented, hard working, organized individual who can help with laundering items from events. In addition, they’ll work well with a team, problem solve on the fly, and ensure no tasks are left unfinished. This position can also be combined with other positions such as delivery driver, event decorator, or ironing.

What you get to do:

• Treat and launder tablecloths, chair covers, napkins and other event fabric in both commercial and residential washers and dryers
• General cleaning and organization of the warehouse area
• Help with pickup/return orders at the warehouse on Mondays and Thursdays.
• Be organized and detail oriented, utilizing checklists or other systems to ensure no task is left undone
• Find solutions to any problems that arise concerning services

Desired Qualifications:

• 18yrs or older
• Valid driver license
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds
• Ability to be on your feet for 8 hour shifts
• Ability to easily communicate ideas and suggestions
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and effectively problem solve issues that may arise

Hours: Part time flexible hours but preferred hours of Sunday afternoon/evenings, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays(other days as needed). Since we are an event company the laundry is typically heavier in the beginning of the week and in the months of April through November. Hours will vary depending on the number of events and the fabric items rented.

Starting Pay: $15 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
