We are selecting team members who need seasonal and/or year-round part time employment. We operate Kona Ice from April - October. With Travelin' Tom's Coffee, we operate all 12 months, with busier months from April - December. We offer flexible schedules and hours that could range from 10-30+ hours per week. Starting pay of $17/hr + tips! Working for just Kona is fine. Working for just Tom's is fine. But there's an opportunity for both! Every team member does start on the Kona side first. Our warehouse is located in Thomas Township off of Gratiot Rd. This is the starting point for every shift.
Kona Ice & Travelin' Tom's Event Specialist Responsibilities:
- Drive/operate the Kona truck and Tom's truck to various locations around the Tri-City area
- Work at various festivals and events around the Tri-City area (i.e. fairs, festivals, parties, corporate functions, set locations, zoo, etc)
- Make the Kona Ice and coffee product, interact, and engage with each customer and fan. We serve joy to people!
- Maintain a spotless working space
- Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment and work well with other team members
- Handle cash/credit card transactions
- Provide unparalleled and outstanding customer service
- Ideal candidate will be able to work independently, creating an enjoyable and fun experience, going above and beyond to exceed customer expectations!
- Comply with the hygiene, health, and sanitation guidelines
- Must be 18 years or older to drive and have clean driving record (CDL/Chauffeurs license NOT needed)
- Previous barista experience or food experience not necessary
- ServSafe certification not necessary
