Event Services Sales And Relationship Management

The Gallery@57 (galleryat57.com) is a local artist community in Malden, MA selling art and handmade products and offering art classes and events. Our newly-launched companion business Maplewood Event Services rents tent equipment and books artists/musicians to events. We are looking for a Sales and Relationship Manager to build a portfolio of clients who hire us to serve their event needs.

Responsibilities:
- Cultivate new client relationships primarily with event sponsors such as Chambers of Commerce, town governments, and local businesses/organizations
- Initial target area will be towns/cities north of Boston
- Use both remote and in-person means to build client relationships such as attending Chamber of Commerce networking meetings
- Work with our Event Planner to fulfill customer event orders

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building client relationships
- Strong service orientation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Creative thinker with entrepreneurial spirit who likes a start-up environment
- Strong commitment to multiculturalism and appreciation for the arts
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Benefits:
- This job will start out as a contract position with an hourly rate plus commission and no benefits. The growth of this opportunity will depend on the growth of the business.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
