POSITION SUMMARY

PEAK Event Services (PEAK) is a premium special events rental company serving the most discerning clients in the greater New England area. Our Tent Department operation has the reputation as the best installation crew in the business, able to overcome multiple on-site obstacles while constructing the most attractive fabric structures in the region. As a member of this team you will be expected to model the highest standards of professionalism and decorum on some of the most exclusive private properties in the area as well as the most exposed public properties of Greater Boston. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Tent Warehouse.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loading and unloading of truck at warehouse
• Moving & carrying of materials from trucks to their proper place within the warehouse
• Respectful interactions with multi-lingual team, leaders and clients
• Flexibility to work in multiple areas within the warehouse
• Must be able to work beyond 8-hour shift if needed, and be flexible with work hours, as nights & weekends may
• be required
• Must be able to work Saturday & Sunday

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a valid driver’s license and obtain a DOT card (through PEAK, no drug test)
• Ability to drive vans, pickup trucks, 16’/24’ box trucks, 16’/24’ rack trucks/non-CDL flatbeds
• Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift/telehandler
• Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Items weighing over 75 pounds will be lifted with machines or with team assistance
• Ability to work alone and/or as part of a small team
• Ability to Multi-task is a must
• Must be able to follow both simple & complex instructions from team leaders and supervisors
• Must be willing to perform tasks as assigned in a safe and conscientious manner, respectful of co-workers, and Peak property

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
