Event Manager

As the Event Manager will be responsible for organizing and overseeing all in-person and digital events, ensuring successful execution and promotion to enhance our brand presence.

The role is based in our Round Rock, TX office and will enjoy our hybrid working schedule. It will also require approximately 10% travel.

What is the role?

Event Planning and Management:

• Coordinate all aspects of in-person events, including tradeshows, workshops, sales meetings, and presentations.
• Develop and execute digital events such as webinars, live events, and product launches.
• Work closely with the marketing and design teams to create impactful marketing assets like booths, banners, brochures, and videos.
• Supervise logistics coordination with an assistant, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, and shipping arrangements.
• Find and manage external providers such as printers and tradeshow organizers.
• Manage advertising opportunities related to events, including magazine placements, news blasts, and other promotional media.

Social Media and Promotion:

• Work with our content creator to develop engaging content to cover events and drive audience engagement.
• Develop and understand social media campaigns for event promotion and brand awareness.

Team Collaboration and Support:

• Collaborate effectively with marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency and the creation of world-class marketing materials.
• Coordinate with an assistant to manage event-related logistics efficiently.
• Assist product managers with their events, including paper presentations, invitations, and other event-related activities.

Does this sound like you?

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Proven experience in event planning and management.
• Strong knowledge and experience with digital event platforms and social media marketing.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft 365 environment.
• Familiarity with all popular social media platforms and understanding of social media campaigns.
• Experience in sourcing and managing external providers (e.g., printers, tradeshow organizations).
• Skill in managing advertising opportunities related to events, such as magazines, news blasts, etc.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
