- Procure contracts for the fundraising walk in the mall from vendors - Mall, T-shirt vendor, audio/visual company, advertisers, graphic artist, signage company, etc.
- Track donations and expenses, send reports to CHA regularly
- Maintain CHA database and track membership and renewals, send renewal letters
- Monitor CHA email and voicemail and respond to inquiries
- Solicit in-kind donations
- Solicit corporate sponsorships
- Serve as liaison within FAU, MWC, CHA Board members
- Set up and coordinate logistics on day of Walk
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of Sponsor Appreciation Party and Donor Wall Reception (venue, invitations, gifts, menu, speakers)
- Create and distribute “Caring Connection” newsletter
- Coordinate and attend CHA Board meetings
- Serve as liaison with various other community groups i.e. Women of Distinction, Brain Bowl, Men with Caring Hearts, etc.
- Perform various administrative duties as requested
Temporary positions are not established positions and are paid from OPS funds. Temporary positions are usually not eligible for benefits and retirement; however, they may be eligible for health insurance coverage depending on the average hours worked per week. They provide full-time or part-time employment in an exempt or non-exempt employment situation based on job duties and salary in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Temporary positions do not have layoff rights and may be terminated without prior notice. Applicants hired into Temporary positions may apply for a regular appointment should a vacancy become available.
This is a part time position.
