Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for finding shows and events, coordinating set up and tear down, working the shows to generate leads, tracking all costs, and assisting in finding and training event brand ambassadors. This role will primarily be based in Indianapolis but will require occasional travel to Grand Rapids, St. Louis, and Knoxville.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure opportunities for participation in trade shows, home improvement expos, and other relevant events
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including booth setup, tear down, and transportation of materials
- Represent our company at events, engaging with attendees, and effectively communicating our products and services
- Generate leads and gather customer information for follow-up by the sales team
- Track event expenses, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure ROI
- Assist in recruiting, training, and managing event brand ambassadors
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies for events
- Maintain a calendar of events and ensure all deadlines are met
- Provide regular reports and updates on event performance and feedback
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event coordination or related field
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Willingness to travel and work weekends as needed
- Knowledge of the Remodeling Industry is a plus but not required
