Job Summary
Marietta Country Club is looking for a positive, energetic, and team-oriented part-time Evening/Weekend Receptionist.The ideal candidate for this position must be detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and friendly. This
individual will greet and provide immediate attention to members and guests.
Job Duties and Tasks
- Answers phone and greets Members.
- Responds to inquiries and questions.
- Assists with data entry and mailings.
- Makes copies and compiles information and flyers for Department Heads as needed.
- Accurately takes reservations for the Grille and special events.
- Maintains appearance of reception area and back-office area.
- Maintains paper in printer for each day’s use.
- Maintains lost and found program.
- Assumes coat check responsibilities.
- Provides members with travel information and directions.
- Maintains current menus.
- Prepares flyers and advertisements for club functions.
- Maintains Front Office and Back Office areas ensuring both are fully stocked and tidy.
- Basic knowledge of social media.
- Speaks using clear using professional language and appropriate etiquette.
- Advises supervisor of any member/guest complaint as soon as they occur.
Requirements
- Must be dependable and have an engaging personality.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with members, guests, and coworkers.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must dress professionally and follow the Club dress code.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have dependable transportation.
- Must pass a pre-employment background screening.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as needed.
- Must have availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Founded in 1915, Marietta Country Club is a member-owned club in Kennesaw, Georgia, located 28 miles from downtown Atlanta. The Club features 27 spectacular holes of Robert Cupp-designed golf, offering challenging risks and rewards for golfers of all skill levels. Set on historic farmland, the Club's "three nines" yield vistas of Kennesaw Mountain, beautiful lakes, ponds, and streams.
The Tennis facility includes 8 immaculately maintained HydroCourt clay courts and 4 all-weather Laykold hard courts. The Club has a Fitness facility including a weight room, locker rooms, and a group fitness room. The Pool complex includes the pool, pool pavilion, and snack bar. The Clubhouse consists of the administrative offices, kitchen, member dining areas, lounge, and banquet facilities.
