Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of Study Start Up, the eSource Architect will be responsible for the oversight and management of eSource creation. This position will serve as an internal resource that provides support within the organization to assist with staff training and competencies in eSource development and completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Create eSource according to protocol specifications for new and amended studies.
- Distribute eSource to the applicable sites and collaborate with site staff/site eSource Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to obtain structural or clinical input and ensure site specific eSource requirements are implemented, as needed.
- Be attentive to detail when creating and reviewing data.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for eSource creation and assist clinical sites with change in source requirements and escalations.
- Provide training and guidance to the site staff on the eSource system, as needed.
- Develop template logs (AE, Deviation, etc.) within the eSource environment that will enable consistent centralized reporting.
- Provide validation and compliance oversight (eg. oversee and communicate system updates that impact the end user, complete electronic medical record questionnaires/source data access surveys for sponsors).
- Collaboration with other teams (Finance, QA, Sites, etc.) to ensure eSource is fulfilling all requirements. This includes input Budget and Contract invoiceable items and per patient amounts.
Qualifications
- Associate?s Degree in related field, preferred BA/BS
- Medical background, familiarity with medical terminology or trial experience knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of eSource systems preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, including a strong command of essential software applications (eg. Microsoft 365)
- Excellent people, phone communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, critical thinking, and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within the team and the organization.
- A roll-up-your-sleeves mentality and exceptional hands-on skills.
- Ability to work prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and speaking on the phone.
Wage/Salary: Starting at $59K
