The Role
Veev is looking for an ERP/MES Project Manager to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for the financial and operational setup of the global ERP solution. You will work closely with Information Systems, Finance, and Operations to create business requirements and translate those into sustainable, robust and scalable technical solutions. You will lead the roll-out, training, documentation, reporting and successful adoption of new developed functions.
The successful candidate must have a passion for helping small sized businesses find creative ways to use NetSuite to more effectively run their businesses.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team on all ERP and MES system improvements/updates end-to-end (requirements gathering to implementation)
- Facilitate business process mapping and requirements gathering sessions with clients to determine ERP/MES system requirements
- Prioritize business needs; translate business needs into system solutions; and develop an implementation roadmap that is regularly communicated broadly
- Directly work with technical staff (both internal and external) to implement solutions
- Establish test cases and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with core client stakeholders to ensure system configuration objectives have been met
- Develop training material and lead training sessions with systems users
- Manage the production deployment processes, ensuring a seamless software launch and continuity of business operations
- Build reports, saved searches and dashboards that provide comprehensive and forward-looking Business Intelligence
- Report implementation roadmap to Executive team on a regular basis
Qualifications
- 5+ years Project Management experience
- Experience with ERP and/or Manufacturing systems implementation; Netsuite a plus
- Ability to coordinate and communicate across multiple customers/business partners to capture business requirements, and keep cross-functional team updated on implementation plan
- Ability to translate customer business requirements into business solutions with a technical implementation team
- Presentation skills are seen as an asset
- Train the business users on Oracle NetSuite ERP whenever a new standard feature is introduced to the production system
- Ability to handle a variety of different projects simultaneously, and capable of managing multiple deadlines
- Ability to take direction and work independently

- SuiteFoundation certification and/or NetSuite Administrator or ERP Consultant certification preferred
- Knowledge of Manufacturing: Assembly Builds/Unbuilds, Work Orders, BOM, Demand Planning, Manufacturing Routing
- Finance & Accounting experience including GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Intercompany, Cost Accounting, Cash Management and GL Consolidation
- Knowledge of Inventory Management: Purchase Requisitions and Orders, Item Receipt, Order Fulfillment, Inventory Transfer, Location/Bin Management, Item Costing
- Experience integrating PLM, Design platforms, and/or PDM systems into Netsuite
