Description:

Nvidia is seeking a highly motivated Senior Capital Projects Manager to own the execution and management of small to large capital project related activities, including scope development, design, schedule, budget, construction, and project completion/close-out. This role will collaborate with the Senior Director of Design and Construction and will have additional responsibilities coordinating with Site/BU Leaders, Facilities Management and Services teams. Candidate should have a strong background in project management as well demonstrate a broad view of facilities management.
The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, proactive, and a skilled problem solver who can adapt and work optimally in a multi-functional International Corporate environment. Along with demonstrating a proven track record in leading and delivering projects with clear technical competence including understanding and delivering Tenant Improvement projects, facilities systems (HVAC/Electrical, Plumbing, Data Centers, labs, and Office environments).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build, track, and update project budgets, provide cash flow updates. Review progress payments, and co-ordinate and implement effectively any change required. Update weekly project tracking tool and provide updates/presentations to management as required.
  • Work in partnership with the Facilities Project Management Office (PMO), to lead & develop standard methodologies for project development, approval, and management of facilities & Services Projects, implement process improvements for planning, development, and project execution, develop and run performance and communications reports.
  • Support functional leadership in developing budgets for RE portfolio strategic investments and build outs to satisfy HC/Lab growth.
  • Develop and lead project plans, plan of record (scope, schedule, and budget) to ensure alignment with key partners and business needs.
  • Develop project resources to deliver project objectives. Solicit RFQ/RFP from Project Management Consultants, Design Consultants and General Contractors as best befits project delivery requirements, lead & coordinate corporate resources and vendors to accomplish project objectives.
  • Provide day to day project communications and coordination with all key partners including management end users/customers, contractors, landlord representatives, IT, Security, maintenance, and facilities operations team.

What we need to see:

  • 15+ years of tried experience in a similar role within a multinational corporate environment. Experience within a dynamic and fast paced technology organization is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in leading large Tenant Improvement Projects as well as highly technical projects involving MEP systems, Rack labs, HW labs, process piping, utility upgrades.
  • Ability to deliver projects in various delivery methods, plan-spec, design-build, design-bid- build, Turn-key, etc.
  • Successful track record of defining business requirements and communicating cases while engaging, influencing, and building strong relationships with senior leaders!
  • Expertise in facilities project management, design, and construction, including industry practices, forms of contract, risk management and quality assurance.
  • Ability to solve sophisticated problems by taking a broad perspective to identify solutions.
  • General knowledge of building, fire, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing codes and OSHA and regulatory requirements.
  • Role is expected to have some travel to coordinate projects in Americas portfolio, up to 20% of time based on project activity.

  • Project management of capital infrastructure projects from project initiation to closeout ranging in size from $10K-$100M.

The base salary range is 124,000 USD - 247,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
