Job Title: ERPEDI Support Analyst

Department: IT

Reports To: ERP Administrator

SUMMARY:

The ERP Support Analyst will primarily be responsible for managing the ERP inquiries that end users request through a ticketing system. Additionally, the position will act as a system expert providing end user training on utilization of the system and process improvement and will analyze end user support patterns and provide this information to the ERP Team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Monitor EDI Transactions: Continuously monitor incoming and outgoing EDI transactions to ensure they are processed without errors or delays.
  2. Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, trading partners, and EDI service providers to address any communication or data exchange problems.
  3. EDI Mapping: Create, update, and maintain EDI maps or translations that convert data from one format to another, ensuring compatibility between systems.
  4. Testing: Conduct testing and validation of new EDI setups, document test results, and make necessary adjustments to configurations
  5. Training: Provide training and support to internal users on EDI systems, protocols, and best practices.
  6. Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and make recommendations for optimizing EDI processes to enhance efficiency and reduce processing times.
  7. Perform day-to-day administration of the ERP System (Epicor)
  8. Document ERP and EDI processes and provide work instructions for troubleshooting and ticket resolution.
  9. Identify opportunities for implementation of new features, make recommendations and work with management/end-users to implement same.
  10. Provide end user support and troubleshooting for issues related to ERP and EDI

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. High School degree required. Associate degree or higher is highly preferred
  2. Minimum 1+ years of ERP and or EDI related experience
  3. Experience creating and maintaining end user training documentation.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Excellent problem solving, organization and analytical skills.
  6. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
