Equipment Packer Lead

Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, and assemble equipment and supplies according to airline specifications.
• Ensure exact number of Equipment and Beverage is always accurately packed and ready for each flight.
• Lead the daily equipment flow between the equipment department associates. Control stock, daily floating stock, keep back-up storage system up to date, take inventory.
• Ensure all stocks received and replenishments are documented properly. Conduct inventory of assigned area as needed. Inspect all chinaware, silverware, plastic ware and all equipment used on a daily basis and verify each flight before trolleys are sealed.
• Prepare correct paperwork for the Equipment and Beverage packing according to company guidelines.
• Accomplish goals and objectives while adhering to Food Safety regulations. Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook.
• Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team.
• Observe the work performance of Equipment Packers, report to supervisors any deficiencies, challenges, or poor performance of any Equipment Packers.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Keep products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
• Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proactive and self-organized.
• Ability to manage through a substantial workload.
• Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
• Flexibility (different shifts –days, nights, weekends, holidays)
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of logistics/warehousing experience in a similar work environment.
