Epicor Systems Analyst
Location: 1st preference: Gnadenhutten; 2nd preference: Hybrid (remote flexibility for the right candidate)
Job Description:
The Epicor Systems Analyst is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of the Epicor Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system - end to end, along with other necessary IT functions. S/he will demonstrate values of integrity, tenacity, accountability, adaptability, and problem-solving, and has strong interpersonal relationship skills, including being able to discern implied needs and requirements in a process. The Epicor Systems Analyst is a self-starter who is resourceful in completing tasks and moving projects forward independently.
This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying system enhancements, and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. The role would also involve creating customizations and writing BPMs using C# code.
This role will work closely with operations and accounting teams to meet all system requirements.
Expectations/Responsibilities:
- The Epicor ERP system is essential to our business and your priority is keeping it running smoothly.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary updates and patches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Document current and proposed business processes and workflows.
- Develop advanced BPMs, BAQs, Dashboards, and custom reports using SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS.)
- Required to have working knowledge and skills in the following areas. SQL, SSRS, Application Studio, BAQ’s, BPM. Familiar will all Epicor Modules.
- Administer security at the system and user levels including documenting appropriate permissions and approvals.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and provide recommendations for system changes.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Epicor ERP system functionality and best practices.
- Act as a point of contact for user inquiries and issue resolution and collaborate with the EpiCare support team to escalate and resolve complex user issues in a timely manner.
- Create APIs and integrations from Epicor to outside software, programs, apps.
- Create tracking system for customizations used, fields and what customizations are running within the system.
- Oversee data quality and integrity within the Epicor ERP system.
- Oversee continued paperless work order initiative.
- Assist with general IT questions and IT security.

Requirements
- The candidate: must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related and demonstrated experience.
- The candidate: must have a strong understanding of business processes, particularly in manufacturing or distribution industries.
- The candidate: must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience and be proficient in Epicor ERP tools, technologies, and customization capabilities.
- The candidate: must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- The candidate: must have a clear background check & drug screen (Tusco provided)
