The Epic Users and Security team is seeking an Application Analyst who will be focused on Data Courier and Security, is on the Montefiore IT Epic Member Rollout Security & Processes team, focused on the User Master File, User Security, Provider Master File Management, and Data Courier, and may also work alongside our Epic Core team.
Epic certification in User & Security or Data Courier is required. Epic SER Badge and/or DC Mover Badge preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze, configure, test and support the respective modules of the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) software and related analytics, with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to configure the EMP, E2R, E2U, LPR, SER master files and know Content Management.
- Perform system configuration functions utilizing and/or with assistance of on-line architectural tools, in-house documentation or support from other members of the team.
- Interact with operational end users from clinical, business and Information systems departments, to address user permission, workflow and experience changes and issues.
- Update and maintain appropriate and accurate process & procedure documentation regarding application(s) / modules supported by the team.
- Provide timely, effective, and professional customer support on a 24x7 rotating basis. Work with the help desk and other application support personnel on escalated issues to identify problems and resolve them.
- Create test plans and test new systems, version upgrades, and any system modification. Document all outcomes of testing.
- Attend meetings and participate on committees as required / directed.
- Provide status reports to management when required.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements include:
- Epic certification in User & Security or Data Courier is required. Epic SER Badge and/or DC Mover Badge preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Excel proficiency
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to our fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with SQL
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
