We are seeking qualified candidates for an Environmental Remediation Assistant Project Manager, ideally with prior experience in the Environmental Remediation or environmental construction industry.
TRS Group is a fully remote company except for our warehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our employee-owners work from home offices and travel to job sites. As an Assistant Project Manager, you should expect to travel about 75% of the time.
This role is a hybrid of field and office work. Work in the field will be important to learn how our technologies are applied. Fieldwork will require manual labor and basic construction skills. In this role, you will assist the Project Managers with project planning and scheduling, project design, procurement, vendor management, licensing, client relations, reporting, financial management and proposal input.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a 4-year degree in a related field.
- Have 2-4 years of environmental professional experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Must have basic construction skills and be able to work inside or outside in all types of weather.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER and annual refreshers will be a requirement of continued employment. (TRS will provide training).
- Frequent travel throughout the US will be required.
