Assistant Project Managers with 1-3 years of experience needed for our North Jersey locations!

Must have a valid driver's license to go to different sites using the company vehicle when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Understand all drawings and coordination drawings for respective projects.
- Attend staff meetings related to respective projects in concept and in progress.
- Develop and agenda for meeting in conjunction with the Project manager/ Superintendent and send to invited parties prior to the scheduled meeting date.
- Prepare formal meeting minutes.
- Responsible for the follow-up of all action items as a result of attending staff meetings.
- Communicate with vendors, engineers, construction manager, owner’s representative, and project superintendent and Project Managers.
- Follow chain of command of specific projects
- Make sure all drawings are up to date and in proper order.
- Prepare submission of project submittals, transmit them to appropriate parties.
- Create in Company software and maintain submittal logs for project(s)
- Review daily activity report from the Project Manager/ Superintendent
- Collect and maintain project insurance requirement and qualifications for the Company and all subcontractors related to project.
- Keep job tracking sheets up to the using Excel.
- Coordinate all deliveries with purchasing and warehouse department.
- Collect from Project Manager/Superintendent all delivery slips from the field on a daily/weekly schedule.
- Verify invoices received to confirm the committed purchase orders, delivery slips and subcontractors' requisitions. Once verified, approve and submit to accounting department for payment.
- Make sure AIA requisitions are up to date and completed in a timely manner.
- Make sure all change orders are up to date and processed.
- Help train Project Coordinators/Assistant Project Managers in daily tasks.
