Description
Summary/Objective
The Environmental Quality Specialist position is expected to support initiatives related to quality assurance audits, process improvement, field efficiency, regulatory compliance, training as well as to work with the Operations team to ensure environmental and SWPPP compliance throughout the market. This role will execute job responsibilities with clients at a local level while providing internal Stormwater support on a local and national level. This role will be critical in ensuring that the highest quality of service is provided to Path Light Pro clients at all times and field efforts are executed consistently across the market.
Essential Functions

• Be open to frequent travel 25-40% of time for performing safety audits, conducting stormwater audits, and at times providing coverage for stormwater routes.
• Provide feedback on specific client requirements, develop ideas to support these client expectations, and follow procedural instruction around the country.
• Provide consultative services with clients to stay ahead of potential compliance issues and improve efficiency and operations.
• Serve as an example of Path Light Pro's excellence and partner with the Operations team to develop and conduct training protocols for Compliance Field Consultants.
• Obtain additional Stormwater certifications as needed and acquire substantial market knowledge as requirements and client expectations change.
• Maintain a positive, communicative relationship with clients.
• Assess and optimize existing processes and develop new processes including technical advancements.
• Work with senior leadership to deliver consistent training across all markets and work with local leadership to ensure teammates adhere to Path Light Pro process.
• Return all calls and emails from clients promptly and within the same business day.
• Be proactive in learning regulatory requirements, problem solving, and solution oriented.
• Generate new ideas and engage in collaborative dialogue with senior leadership on how to optimize efficiency and make improvements for Path Light Pro.
• Educate clients on all of Path Light Pro services as well as work with Path Light Pro management to bring additional value to clients related to new services.
• Conduct baseline, routine, and unscheduled quality assurance audits in markets and provide a report of the findings to ensure teammates are consistently performing quality work and following processes.
• Complete all site evaluation documentation in electronic systems and onsite recordkeeping Stormwater SWPPP books as well as update all regulatory onsite records, including SWPPP logs, site BMP maps, and required site postings.
• Serve as an additional client facing and internal resource for consulting and technical solutions.
• Communicate daily with managers
• Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
On location at Path Light Pro client construction job sites. Proper construction field attire is required including high top and hard-toe work boots that protect the ankle, hard hats, Path Light Pro-branded polo shirt (or safety vest) Khaki pants (no jeans). Safety glasses and safety vest may be required on a case by case basis pursuant to local and jobsite specific requirements.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with flexibility, 40+ hours a week. Due to the nature of the industry and environmental laws/regulations, this may cause you to work on weekends and/or holidays.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although out of market and overnight travel may be expected on a case by case basis due to the size of the market.

Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
