Job DescriptionIn this role, you’ll be introduced to the Environmental Services industry. We’ll teach you how to collect and prepare soil samples from inbound trucks, run the laboratory equipment, and keep records of the results. You’ll also monitor inbound materials via video camera, and you’ll ensure accurate and complete documentation of inbound and outbound scale transactions. You’ll learn how to use and maintain a gas chromatograph (GC). You’ll mostly work indoors in a lab / office environment with periodic walks outdoors to collect samples.

QualificationsBasic Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you’ll need a high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree
- Knowledge and experience with a GC
- Communication skills to be able to deal with a wide range of customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Ability to work independently in a safe and efficient manner and to follow safety policies and procedures.
- Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Attention to detail
- Ability to be a team player
- Willingness and ability to wear company provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel toed shoes, and hard hat
