Environmental Consultant

Impact Compliance & Testing, Inc. (ICT) is an environmental consulting firm that offers its clients air pollutant emission compliance services that include permitting, testing, air monitoring, and engineering and regulatory analyses. Based on the continued growth of our environmental services, ICT has an opening for an Environmental Consultant.

Duties

- Collect and analyze data related to air emissions, waste disposal processes, and emission control equipment

- Operate a variety of instrumental analyzers and sampling equipment to perform air emission testing (stack testing)

- Prepare emission test plans for regulatory agency review and approval.

- Assist clients achieve and/or remain in compliance with environmental regulations and obligations

- Provide recommendations for improving environmental performance and sustainability

- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to address environmental concerns

- Prepare reports summarizing emission measurements and compliance test data

- Perform equipment maintenance and instrument calibrations as required by USEPA test methods

Skills

- Strong data analytical skills and proficiency in researching methodologies

- Ability to read and understand procedures, technical instructions, and equipment manuals

- Proficiency in creating Excel® spreadsheets for collecting data and calculating air emission rates

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- While prior experience with air or water sampling equipment is not a requirement, it would be a plus in the selection process

Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field

- Prior professional experience related to environmental compliance and/or sampling is advantageous but not required

- Working knowledge of analytical equipment, laboratory procedures, and industrial safety procedures

Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
