Position Overview:
As a community solar Entry Level Sales representative, you will play a pivotal role in promoting sustainable energy solutions by subscribing residential and small business customers to local community solar farms in CMP's and Versant's utility footprint. You will be at the forefront of the green energy revolution, driving sales, fostering relationships within the community, and contributing to the reduction of carbon footprints.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement: Promote the benefits of community solar programs and educate potential customers about the advantages of subscribing to local solar farms.
Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales metrics, track individual performance, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure consistent growth in customer subscriptions.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with the company's objectives. Identify market opportunities, target customer segments, and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
Team Leadership: With proven sales performance, you could earn a promotion and the opportunity to lead a team of sales representatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Passion for clean energy and a commitment to sustainability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the solar energy industry and community solar programs is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, not required; high school diploma and experience required
