About the Role
We are searching for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Spartanburg SC USA.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist in the establishment of books of account for the division including sales/ receivables, purchases/payables/payments, fixed assets, general ledger, taxes and financial statements.
- Receipt and reconciliation of all OEM customer payments, debit and credit memo discrepancies, and irreconcilable items.
- Contact customers for all escalated OEM collection issues, debit and credit memo discrepancies and irreconcilable items.
- Prepare month-end closing activities, analyses and quarterly schedules as required to adequately document the financial position of Fuel Systems.
- Assist with the establishment and maintenance of the division’s ability to monitor profitability on a product by product basis.
Who we are looking for
- Must have strong understanding of US-GAAP
- Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Must possess high sense of urgency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- ERP system experience, preferably SAP
- Excellent Negotiation, relationship building and confronting skills
Your preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
- CPA preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting
- 1-3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
