Outside/Inside Sales Representative

PDQ Door is Maine’s leading provider of doors and we are growing. We are currently seeking a full-time Outside/Inside Sales Representative for our automatic door and gate division. Successful candidates will receive industry training that will assist our customers in finding their best options to automate their gates and entry doors.

Job Responsibilities

· Gather necessary information from Customers/Contractors and provide job estimates using Company Software and Quickbooks

· Generate new leads and follow up with up potential leads

· Clearly communicate with Technicians and other Team Members regarding upcoming and ongoing installation/service jobs

· Provide Customers/Contractors with the appropriate forms/documents to prepare for installation

· Liaison between Customer and Contractor as needed

· Travel through assigned territory to site check Customer residential/commercial properties

· Ability to work independently and efficiently

· Strong work ethic

Overcome concerns and setbacks to complete tasks

Job Qualifications

Basic knowledge of low voltage wiring

18 Years of Age or Older

Pass a Pre-Employment Health Screening

Current, valid driver’s license

Reliable transportation

Excellent communication skills, phone, text, email, in person, & Microsoft Teams

Previous sales preferred

Effective time management and organizational skills

Great interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport with prospective and existing customers

Knowledge of construction and hand tools, be mechanically inclined and willing to learn is preferred

P.D.Q. Door Company is seeking mechanically inclined, self-motivated individuals to be a part of our growing state-wide team. With branches in Hampden, Rockport,

West Bath, Waterville, Houlton and Presque Isle, we service and repair Garage Doors, Dock Equipment, Automatic Pedestrian doors and more over the entire state of Maine. No experience required, with both on the job and classroom training program in our dedicated training facility. We are currently hiring for our Hampden location.
