Bond Consultants is a dynamic firm which provides professional employment services to many people with different backgrounds and skills. One of our clients, Plastic Automotive Part Manufacturing Plant, is looking for a Quality Engineer. This position is Direct Hire and pays based on related education and experience. Relocation package available.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Drawing review to determine Quality Requirements, Paint Coverage Areas, Critical/Special Characteristics, Material/Performance Specifications and Communication to all affected areas.
Planning, Organizing, and Preparing Pilot Order activities per customer requirement in conjunction with Program Development Department.
Submitting and follow up on Part Approval Package
Attending Fit Reviews (Joint Checks/Check Fixture) at assigned customer(s).
Submitting and follow up on Part Validation Testing, Check Fixture Concept and Approval Documents, Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, Control Plans, Inspection Standards/Agreements, and Inspection Data Sheets to the customer
Attend color harmony reviews at the assigned customer(s)
Submit and follow up on color and grain approval documents (AAR, MUS) to the customer
Submitting and follow up on process change requests (PCR/IPP/IPPAAR) to the customer.
Planning, organizing, and follow up on engineering change activities, process capability studies, process capability studies, and Gage R&R Studies.
Daily review of customer portal and distribution of relevant information internally
Generating, submitting, training and modification of internal documents and completion of QE document(s) Matrix for assigned products.
Customer contact for quality issues and reacting in accordance with external/internal procedures
Submission and follow up of Response to Customer (5P)
Summary of Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Relevant college education or experience a plus.
Ability to/willingness to learn how to read, analyze, and interpret technical information.
Ability to effectively present information to supervisors, engineers, and management.
Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, database and internet software.
