Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation and Management of Quality Practices:
- Develop, implement, and manage practices to ensure that products and processes adhere to specifications and standards.
- Conduct internal quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Cross-Functional Lean Projects:
- Lead cross-functional lean projects aimed at standardizing, stabilizing, and simplifying the production process.
- Drive lean implementation to enhance operations and improve business processes across multiple facilities.
- Quality Systems Management:
- Manage the company's quality systems, providing leadership and direction to senior management and the organization.
- Coordinate, prepare, and lead the organization in obtaining and maintaining Quality-related certifications.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality processes.
- Implement best practices to enhance overall product quality and process efficiency.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training to employees on quality standards, processes, and procedures.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the quality department.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the performance of quality systems.
- Supplier Quality Management:
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of suppliers to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Monitor and address customer feedback related to product quality.
- Implement corrective actions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and certifications.
- Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
