Entry Level Quality Control/Quality Assurance

Santa Cruz Animal Health, a division of Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Inc. , produces UltraCruz premium brand Supplements, Grooming and Critical Care products and provides a full line of animal health products for horses, livestock, and companion animals. In addition, for the past thirty years Santa Cruz Biotechnology has been a world leader in the development of research antibodies, biochemicals, and labware for the biomedical research market.

Santa Cruz Animal Health has an immediate opening for an Entry LevelQuality Control/Quality Assurance person at its Dallas, TX Headquarters campus. This is a full-time position with career advancement opportunities within the company.

Required Skills:

• Ability to assist in steps necessary to run the quality management system while reporting to the Quality Control Manager.
• Detail and task oriented with a high level of organizational ability.
• Ability to follow SOP's to monitor and control the production process including receiving of raw materials, sample collection, process audit, deviations, corrective actions or as necessary to implement and maintain a successful QMS.
• Capacity to participate in meetings and informal discussions to review and improve procedures in order to maintain efficient workflow.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Ability to perform daily inspections of production areas of the plant according to QMS standards and report findings to management.

Desired Skills:

• Some manufacturing or quality experience desired, but not required.
• Food safety experience preferred.
• Have the ability to lift 50 lbs as needed and walk the plant floor.
• Maintain high standards of cleaning.

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in related field.
