Operations
- Initially you may learn several different jobs.
Responsibilities include:
- Accuracy with computer entries, core tags and labels
- Wrapping of rolls per customer specifications
- Assisting the operations crews
- Learning and thoroughly understanding the process and the equipment being used
- The company reserves the right to assign other duties
Quality
- Assist in maintaining the customers quality standards for all products produced
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work 7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm, 5-7 days per week, up to 16-hour shifts, when required
- Ability to safely lift/move weights up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely work in a fast-paced environment using high-speed moving equipment while wearing required PPE
- Ability to safely operate manual and powered material handling equipment, such as hand dolly, chain fall, chain hoist, electric hoist, and fork truck
- Proven record of maintaining acceptable attendance
- Ability to safely bend, kneel, squat, stoop, maintain balance, climb, and work on elevated platforms
- Ability to read, record data, and understand/follow procedures and instructions
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold) when necessary
- Demonstrate good communication skills
- Possess technical/problem solving skills
- Contribute in a team environment to meet our business objectives
Preferred
- Industrial work experience is preferred but not required
