Job Summary
Under limited supervision, the Supplier Relationship Manager utilizes extensive knowledge and skills acquired through education and specialized training. The role involves working with a complex organization with multiple stakeholders and entails developing and managing the Raymond James Enterprise Supplier Relationship program. Responsibilities include designing supplier engagement strategies, supplier stratification, program governance, performance management, supplier development integrating supplier management best practices across the business, establishing strategic partnerships with top suppliers, and participating in cross-business supplier initiatives. This position plays a crucial role in the procurement process, emphasizing the enhancement of supplier performance and fostering collaboration.
- Lead, develop, and implement the firm's Enterprise Supplier Relationship strategy.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to identify and select suitable suppliers who meet the organization's quality, cost, and performance requirements.
- Continuously assess and monitor supplier performance, including quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness, in partnership with the lines of businesses.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve supplier performance.
- Develop performance SLAs, where applicable.
- Determine the best method to resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
- Collect and analyze supplier performance, cost, and quality data.
- Facilitate executive sessions and quarterly business reviews (QBR) with suppliers.
- Maintain open and effective communication channels with suppliers, including regular meetings and reporting to discuss performance and strategic objectives.
- Work with suppliers to develop their capabilities, ensuring they align with the organization's evolving needs and objectives.
- Focus on all corporate financial expectations, compliance, and business objectives and ensure that the firm's needs are being met while providing cost savings to the company and maintaining consistently high levels of service.
- Prepare and deliver written and oral presentations to various levels in the firm.
- Participate in applicable advisory boards for the industry.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Advanced concepts, principles, and practices of an Enterprise Supplier Relationship Management Program.

- Able to measure supplier performance, develop long-term strategic supplier relations, and identify development and partner opportunities.
Education/Previous Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience.
- OR
- An equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
- Certified Supplier Management Professional (CSMP) or Supplier Relationship Management Certification (SRMC) is preferred
