Office Location: Bothell, WA.

Salary: Commensurate with experience. Target salary range $90K-$140K annually.

Job Description

RPA Engineering is searching for an Engineering Project Manager to join our team and lead projects for a pharmaceutical/biologics client in the Seattle, WA and Pacific Northwest areas. The position requires thorough knowledge of project management techniques, engineering, and capital construction project execution in a rapidly expanding cGMP setting.

Education & Experience

Required

· BS Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar).

· 3+ years of experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing industry.

· Engineering project management experience (managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, etc.).

· Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred

· Master of Business Administration (MBA)

· 5+ years of experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing industry.

· Experience in working with multi-discipline projects, preferably with a consulting engineering firm.

· Experience with cGMP in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

· Experience using MS Project.

Tasks, Responsibilities, and Utilized Skills

· Highly organized individual, responsible for coordination and tactical management of all technical activities on assigned projects.

· The position is instrumental in ensuring delivery of engineering / construction services to the manufacturing plant, quality control and process development laboratories, offices, and warehouses. Daily interaction with contractors and vendors in the field is a core job component. This is a hands-on position.

· Maintaining a project plan, keeping stakeholders involved and informed of schedule progress.

· Controlling project expenditures to ensure delivery within the approved budget. Providing updated forecasts.

· Ensuring adequate quality assurance and control techniques are in place to meet quality targets.

· Identifying, monitoring & reporting project risks and mitigation plans.

· Resolving project issues utilizing clear, concise, effective communication.

· Managing the configuration of all project deliverables.

· Job will generally be performed in an office environment but will require travel to and visit a client’s office, production facility or industrial/construction job site. Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.
