Civil Engineer Project ManagerLand Development

We are currently seeking to add a Project Managerto our Land Development team.

The typical salary range for this position is $117,000 to $155,000 and is commensurate with experience relative to this position. This is a full-time position with benefits.

PACE provides comprehensive Civil Engineering services for all types of Land Development projects. We specialize in providing effective designs for projects involving all aspects of Land Development. Our team assists clients in realizing the visions, needs, and goals of their projects.

PACE’s LEED accredited and low impact development (LID)-certified staff provide innovative, sustainable design techniques and incorporate best management practices in our designs, whenever possible.

Our Land Development projects primarily focus on property master planning, permitting, feasibility studies, erosion and sediment control, grading, drainage, water/sewer/road improvements, senior living, industrial and commercial office parks, residential developments, parks, and trails.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated and technically knowledgeable with strong communication skills and a can-do attitude. Be part of a thriving team actively planning and delivering creative designs and solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas.
  • Develops new clients and projects and participates in the development of proposals and interviews as required.
  • Uses advanced techniques, theory, precepts and practices in a specialized engineering field.
  • Plans, coordinates and directs a large and important engineering project or a number of small projects with many complex features.
  • Must be capable of developing scopes or work, schedules, fees and be capable of coordinating staff and subconsultants for 100% project success.
  • Has the ability to manage all projects at or under budget and on time.
  • Must serve as a technical advisor to other staff.
  • Must coordinate and manage client requests and needs.
  • Review design and production deliverables ensuring industry standard of care and compliance with PACE standards and policies.

What we are looking for:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Washington State PE
  • 12-20 years of experience as an engineer
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager
