Make a difference in the automotive industry by applying for ADAC Automotive’s internship program today.
ADAC’s paid summer internship program takes place each year in May and runs through August. For 12 weeks, you will apply the concepts you have learned in the classroom to actual business situations and scenarios. Take advantage of your summer break to build your resume, learn and grow in a real-world environment.
The program features collaboration among your fellow interns and ADAC professionals. In addition to team-based community outreach and philanthropic initiatives, the internship program concludes with a final joint capstone project and presentation. The project requires you to apply your research, problem solving and innovation skills to understand and identify a solution to a specific and relevant company business opportunity or challenge.
To complete the capstone, your program cohort will formally present your recommendations to ADAC’s executive team.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Department budget reports - establish the fundamentals and standardized KPI's
- Harvest Reports - Based on current reports, establish the fundamentals and standardized KPI's
- CN Reports - Establish an automated report and work with teams to reduce open tasks. Will require to coordination with CN Committee
- General support for CTO and Engineering Operations.
- Streamline engineering related files on our network to one location
- Create, refine, standardize dashboards, file organization to streamline communication
- Create, refine, standardize operating procedures, departmental instructions and work instructions
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma and pursuing an Engineering related degree
- High technical/systems understanding
- Experienced with MS tools, Teams and and SharePoint
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Engineering concepts are a must
- Must have a technical mindset and be curious
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to read and understand blueprint schematics
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
- Strong documentation abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Must be able to translate technical findings into narrative that can be easily understood by users at all levels. Narrative in reports must be easily understood
