Currently, we are seeking an Engineering Intern to join our team.
In this position, the chosen candidate will receive hands-on experience in product design, fabrication, and prototyping techniques. This person will also assist in engineering product development and manufacturing as needed.
Internship Requirements:
- Support engineers with the development of new products
- Support engineering products in production
- Assist with creating and revising engineering drawings
- Follow instructions laid out by Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations
- Shadow engineers to gain higher knowledge
- Assist in the engineering department as needed
- Conduct research on product and engineering requirements
- Utilize MCAD to gain basic design skills
- Assist in manufacturing products as needed
- Perform 3D CAD modeling
Qualifications:
- Current and active enrollment in an accredited engineering degree program, in Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Computer engineering
- Overall GPA of 3.0 and be in good standing with the university
- Exposure to office automation tools preferred
- Exposure to 3D CAD preferred
- Understanding CNC machining and hand tools is helpful and preferred
