Job Summary:
The Subsystems Electrical Product Department designs digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units, which are supported from proposal through transition to production. Our systems are subject to environments ranging from the frigid, sub-zero vacuum of space, to the blistering heat of the desert floor, to the high pressures of the ocean depths. We are seeking current college students willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today’s cutting-edge technology to design digital electronic circuits that implement missile guidance, video and digital signal processing. Our technology base includes high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and homogeneous / heterogeneous multiprocessor designs.
This position is an onsite role.
This position can be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Post-Graduate based on the based on the candidate's classification as determined by grad year on resume and provided via questionnaire by candidate as outlined below:
(Freshman Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
(Sophomore Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
(Junior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
(Senior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
(Post-Graduate Technical Intern)- must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post-Graduate by the start of Summer 2024 in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) degree.
Coursework in one or more of the following areas: circuit design, digital electronics, lab course work, PCB design and signal integrity.
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
Technical working knowledge of electronic components (e.g. semiconductor, passive and/or electromechanical commodities) and their application.
Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting using common lab equipment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures.
Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
