Job Summary
- Light Housekeeping – including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms
- Provides Engagement for the client. This includes accompanying client on walks, going out for a meal, trips to social/recreational activities, going out shopping, assistance with hobbies, or just sitting and chatting
- Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions. May shop for groceries
- Accompany or drive clients to appointments or run errands with clients
- Monitor client supplies and help reorder
- Meaningful engagement with those living with Dementia
- Observe and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance
- No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Life Home Health*
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Supportive and compassionate
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Take pride in providing high quality care
