WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Youth Engagement Specialist is a non-exempt position responsible for providing crisis intervention and wrap-around services within the City of St. Petersburg for youth and their families.
- Provide an in-person response, as required and within the timeframes designated by contractual requirements.
- Identify strengths, limitations, risk factors, and needs, using the required assessment tool, to develop Support Plan and coordination of services.
- Provide referral and follow-up to appropriate community resources as deemed appropriate to meet youth and family's needs.
- Coordinate with schools, Department of Corrections, Juvenile Justice Department and other community providers.
Shift Available:
- Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4:00 pm - 2:00 am

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or related area of study from an accredited college or university and two (2) years' experience in field based social work or related human services related field, preferred.
- Knowledge of child development, preferred.
- As a requirement of this position, may be required to use personal car to transport clients. Must have a valid drivers' license and proof of auto insurance coverage.
