Our mission-driven team is seeking a bold and dynamic Internal Communications Manager who is preoccupied with big questions: Where do we go from here? What are the limits of innovation and exploration? How do we continue to evolve as a species?
SUMMARY: The Engagement Specialist will report directly to Internal Communication Manager, while supporting every employee within the organization. This critical role requires an individual who has demonstrated experience devising creative, fun, and non-standard solutions to help effectively engage employees and build community throughout the organization.
During private astronaut missions, or other major milestones within the organization, they may be asked to support Axiom Space’s External Events team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Optimizes employee engagement through effective communication, project management and event organization, bringing data-driven results.
- Executes the employee engagement plan to create experiences that inspire, engage, and connect employees.
- Creates thoughtful presentations for internal meetings, finds innovative ways to engage employees and builds a shared culture.
- Actively builds social capital across the entire organization.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in employee experience and engagement, applies this knowledge to effectively deliver engagement projects.
- Implements cost-saving measures, without flexing on quality.
- Performs other duties as required.

Education & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in Internal Events planning is required.
- 2+ years of experience with employee engagement surveys is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in employee experience is required.
