Backed by a successful Australian sports-betting business, Dabble is revolutionizing the industry by providing a unique and immersive community-based experience for users. Unlike traditional DFS apps, Dabble combines social media elements with daily fantasy, offering a newsfeed similar to Instagram or Twitter, where users can follow their friends, ex-athletes, and copy their bets with ease. Additionally, Dabble hosts a chat feature, called “Banter” where users can engage in forums and chat about their selections.

Located in Austin, Texas, our office serves as a central hub, and we're actively planning to expand our reach. Overview

As the Community Engagement Specialist for Dabble, you will play a crucial role in retaining and engaging our new and quickly growing customer base. Joining a small team based in Austin, you’ll be a versatile all-rounder who can roll up their sleeves, be hands-on, and take charge of various marketing disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, experience in wagering or fantasy sports, and a strong understanding of digital, CRM and social media. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a game-changing start-up early on, with the potential for significant growth as the company expands.

No two days are the same at Dabble - your role will be dynamic and you will touch a wide range of functions with the marketing department. Your hours will be rostered to a schedule that aligns to the sports calendar and will include being required to work roughly 3 in 4 weekends and some evening

Primary Location

This role is currently open to all locations within USA, however candidates based in Austin, Texas may be preferred.

Responsibilities

Community Management:

• Foster a vibrant, inclusive and positive community on the Dabble app
• Community monitoring
• Initiatives to drive conversation, engagement within the Dabble app

CRM:

• Assist the CRM team with campaign execution for eDMs, push notifications, in app messages etc
• Plan and implement promotions to retain and reactivate customers
• Utlilize data & analysis to derive actionable insights, track user behavior, and measure the success of CRM initiatives

Social Media:

• Produce and post content on Dabble’s social media platforms, as well as Community Engagement
• Identify great community moments from in the Dabble app to share on social media
• Help identify social media partnerships that would drive awareness and customer acquisition

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in Sports Marketing, preferably in the social media and/or CRM space
• Ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Outcome focused, self-motivated, flexible and enthusiastic
• Resilient and confident, able to comfortably interact with people of different mindsets
• Ability to work autonomously and hold yourself to a high standard

Remuneration

The advertised salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000USD, with room to be flexible.
