Responsibilities:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute the outreach to ensure attendance and engagement is high throughout the Summer School program
- Execute site-based attendance policy or incentive systems
- Support family involvement efforts that include pre-program calls to families
- Collaborate with the Ops Clerk to execute site logistics including but not limited to, schedules, bus pick-up and drop-off, meal logistics, transitions between activities, site set up, and materials distribution.
- Be a point of contact for families, staff, and activity partners and provide high-quality customer service at all times
- Assist with student enrollment
- Work closely with leadership team members to ensure coordinated efforts and identify creative solutions resulting in a successful operating site
- Partners with students, staff, and parents to ensure students attend school every day.
- Orients families to attendance expectations
- Makes daily attendance calls to families and documents all attendance changes
- Captures and shares any key information or context shared during calls with families
- Partners with families and students when additional attendance support are needed
- Assist with planning of school events and activities
- Ensure clear and effective communications with all community members and stakeholders.
- Manage the translation of family communications and parent meetings
- Ensures all parent-facing materials are readily available for diverse audiences
- In partnership with the Site Leader and the Ops Clerk, distribute feedback mechanisms to gather information on family and student experience of Summer School and identify room for improvement.

- Set short- and long-term professional goals based on self-assessment, reflection, and supervisor feedback.
- Engage in learning communities and meetings
- Communicate with parents/guardians regularly regarding students
- Exemplify the mission, vision, and goals of the school to students, colleagues, parents, and families.
