Position Summary

Netwoven is looking for an experienced Engagement Manager – Data and Analytics. This position is remote, but with opportunities to work and celebrate in person. The Engagement Manager will help grow our Data & Analytics practice solutions and manage the delivery of customer projects. This leadership role requires enterprise consulting experience in modern data engineering, complex analytical solutions, thought leadership and pre-sales support to successfully collaborate with our architects, sales and other leaders to achieve our goals. As an Engagement Manager, you will be primarily accountable for the end-to-end consulting delivery of a portfolio of modern data engineering projects, assist with solution design and partner on opportunity development with the sales team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the delivery of technology consulting engagements to architect, design, and deliver data engineering projects using the latest features of Azure Data & Analytics services.
• Gather requirements from customers and translate into projects with scope and timelines for solutions that will be delivered using Azure data and analytics services.
• Work closely with clients to understand and translate their business needs into technical requirements, designs and implementation plans.
• Stay abreast of the latest Microsoft Azure offerings and industry trends to drive innovation in our service delivery for data and analytics.
• Guide and mentor team members in their professional development and understanding of Microsoft Azure data and analytics services.
• Lead data migration projects that entail supporting customers transitioning from on-premises or older technologies into the Microsoft Azure cloud.
• Deliver customer projects with globally staffed teams to meet deliverables, timeline and budget.
• Deliver webinars or write blogs on various topics to support sales/marketing efforts.
• Lead the development of the practice & service offerings for implementing data and analytics solutions using Microsoft Azure to support sales/marketing efforts.

Requirements

• Must have minimum 10 years of prior consulting experience as an independent, a consulting firm or a small to mid-size software data and analytics company.
• Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
• Goal oriented and metric driven.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• An excellent collaborator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
• Project management experience using Scrum / Agile Principles to manage estimates, tasks, escalations, risks/issues.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively using quality driven approach working with global delivery teams based in USA and India.
• Experience working with business leaders and development teams to document and clarify business and user requirements and lead scope of defined features and functions during project lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Certifications in Microsoft Azure are highly desirable.
